The Sequential Eradication of Normal

“The battle against Covid-19 is gradually morphing into a battle over civil liberties. How much privacy are individuals willing to forfeit for a virus that appears to pose little danger to a large percentage of the US population?” Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, UCLA School of Medicine

“…for authoritarian-minded leaders, the coronavirus crisis is offering a convenient pretext to silence critics and consolidate power.” Human Rights Watch

For weeks, going on months now, the hue and cry for better and more accurate SARS-CoV testing has been raised. “If we could just test more people, we could have a better idea of how the virus behaves.” Okay, fair enough. But there are a group of people who were comprehensively and rigorously tested: the guests and crew aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship. We know for an incontrovertible fact exactly how many people were infected, their demographics, their symptoms, when the virus appeared, and…how many died.

According to LiveScience.org, Dr. Timothy Russell is an epidemiologist at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine who does mathematical modeling of disease outbreaks. He, and his team, studied the Diamond Princess data and came away with the following conclusions:

  1. There were 3711 souls onboard.
  2. Of the total, 634, or 17%, contracted the virus.
  3. 328 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis.
  4. 12 died.
  5. The most vulnerable group, those over 70, had an overall fatality ratio of about 7.3%.
  6. Of those with symptoms, the fatality ratio was 1.9%.
  7. Of all infected, that fatality ratio was 0.91%.

Why are these numbers important? Two things: 1) They represent some of the only raw and unadulterated data available (i.e. data that does not include deaths from pneumonia or seasonal influenza or anything else people choose to include in order to inflate the numbers for political purposes. 2) This “test” group was comprised of people who are much older than US demographics and had substantial comorbidities like hypertension, obesity, diabetes and heart disease. And yet, in spite of these compromising conditions…only twelve people died.

Twelve.

Have you noticed the near total suppression of data like this? Noticed that virtually all dissenting voices—many of them globally recognized experts in the fields of virology and epidemiology—have been set aside, covered over or otherwise defamed? Why is that? I believe that at the core of EVERYTHING is a political agenda seeking to sequentially eradicate “normal.” And the way it has been accomplished is through fear and panic.

We’re not gathering as families; we’re not gathering as a faith community; we’re not gathering around sporting events (be they professional, amateur, collegiate, high school or parks and rec); we’re not gathering in coffee shops; we’re not gathering in scholastic settings; we’re not even gathering in pubs! Are you seeing the pattern? We’re not gathering on any level. Connectivity has largely been taken away or so highly regulated that it’s almost not worth the effort. We are cut off and isolated from each other. We can’t even “see” each other when we’re out and about because everyone is behind a mask—concealed; hidden; no visible emotions; no sense of…recognition.

Although the leftists in this country love to label Donald Trump as being a “fascist”, they are the ones using the tools of that particular ideology…not he. It’s called, “divide and conquer.”

  • Separate people physically so the bonds of intimacy are broken down.
  • Set them against each other ideologically and philosophically.
  • Give them reasons to be suspicious of each other.
  • Encourage informing on rule breakers.
  • Scare them and keep them scared.

I have a strong suspicion that if the DEM’s win back the White House in November, the panic over this virus is going to magically disappear. Poof! Just like that. And there will be no explanation. Conversely, if Donald Trump wins a second term…my friends, we are in for a long haul…and on the other side, we will be very, very far from normal. RG…out!

  1. Thank you for your honesty. It’s a step of courage you exercise your freedom of expression. Two of my friends had their posts magically removed from FB. The only explanation. “It doesn’t fit our guidelines.”

    Bless you! Don’t stop.

  2. Thank you. I always appreciate your honesty. I see people afraid to express their opinions. Two of my friends magically had their posts removed from Facebook. The only explanation. “It doesn’t. Fit their guidelines.”

    Bless you!
